The following is the Merit wise list of Provisionally Selected Candidates of the Online CBT mode Re-Examination held on 28-02-2019 for recruitment to the post of Nursing Officer for Central Government Hospitals in Delhi conducted on the direction of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Hospital -1 Section), Government of India [No.Z.28015/45/2018-H-I-Part(1) dated 26.11.2018, No.Z.28015/45/2018-H-I-Part(1) dated 29.01.2019]; the Office of the Medical Superintendent, VMMC and Safdarjung, New Delhi [F.No.6-1/2018 Admn.III (N) dated 01.08.2018 & F.No.6- 1/2018 Admn.III (N) dated 06.10.2018] and subsequent directions of competent authorities. The Examination was held on the basis of the Advertisement No. 15/2019 dated 30.01.2019 including the Scheme of Examination published in leading newspapers and uploaded in the website of the Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi. As decided by the competent authorities, this examination was conducted only for those candidates who had been issued Admit Cards / Hall Tickets for the earlier Examination conducted by the Safdarjung and VMMC Hospital on 06.10.2018 as well as PWBD Candidates who had applied in response to the Advertisement No. 15/2019 dated 30.01.2019 as mentioned above.

National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar is an Autonomous Institute under Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. NISER has been setup at Jatni in Khurda District of Odisha as a unique institution of its kind pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate education in sciences combined with frontline research. The campus of NISER at Jatni is spread over a sprawling 300 acres of land on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. It will be a fully residential campus with all modern living amenities including children's school, hospital, banking facilities etc.

Pay Scale -           ₹44,900/- (Cell No.1, Level 7 of pay matrix as per 7th CPC) + allowances as admissible under Rules


Qualifications - 

 XII Standard and Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years course) + Valid Registration as Nurse from Central/State Nursing Council in India 

                                        OR 

 B.Sc. Nursing. 

                                       OR 

 Nursing ‘A’ Certificate with 3 years’ experience in Hospital or Nursing Assistant Class III & above from Armed Forces. 



Application Mode -       Online 


Application Fees -          The candidates have to pay application fee of ₹500/- (Rupees five hundred only) in the form of Bank Demand Draft only, drawn in favour of ‘DIRECTOR, NISER’ and payable at Bhubaneswar. Application fee is exempted for SC/ST, Ex-serviceman, PWD and Women candidates. If application fee is not paid, the application will be treated as incomplete and rejected. Application Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances and cannot be held in reserve for any other recruitment.

How to Apply -       After final submission of application, the candidate should take printout of the online application form and send it to the below mentioned address so as to reach on or before 05.04.2019 through Registered/Speed post only with the DD and self-attested photocopies of certificates providing his/her age proof, educational qualification and experience. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed as “Application for the post of Nurse-A / Scientific Assistant–B (Medical Laboratory Technician)/ Scientific Assistant–B (Radiography)/ Scientific Assistant–B (Physiotherapist)” against advertisement No. Advt No. NISER/Estt./Rct./01/2019” and sent to the following address.

 The application form complete in all respect along with Demand Draft and self-attested copies of relevant certificates in support of educational qualifications, age, caste and experience etc. must reach in the sealed envelope to the “Recruitment Cell (Admin)” at the address mentioned above on or before 05.04.2019. In any case NISER will not be responsible for any postal delay. 

SELECTION PROCEDURE:- 


 Selection procedure for Nurse/A will consist of tests in 3 stages-
Stage 1 – Preliminary Test:    Screening examinations to be held to shortlist candidates. The format of the screening examinations will be as follows: 
1. Examination will consist of 50 multi choice questions (choice of 4 answers) of one-hour duration in the following proportion: 
a. Mathematics -              20 questions 
b. Science -                       20 questions 
c. General Awareness – 10 questions 

 2. ‘3’ marks for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. 

 3. All candidates scoring less than (<) 30% in OBC category and less than (<) 40% in other categories will be screened out. 

Stage 2 – Advanced Test:   All candidates Screened in Stage I will be allowed to undertake Stage 2 (Advance Test) in their respective trade. 

 1. The Test will comprise 50 multi choice questions (choice of 4 answers) of two-hour duration. 

 2. ‘3’ marks for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. 

 3. Merit List of candidates will be prepared after Stage-2 based upon the scores obtained in Stage-2 only. 

 4. All candidates scoring less than (<) 30% in OBC category and less than (<) 40% in other categories will be screened out. 


 Stage 3 – Skill Test: Based upon the Merit List prepared after Stage-2, candidates will be shortlisted for Stage-3 (Skill Test). Candidates clearing the skill test will be shortlisted and empanelled in order of Merit based on the marks secured in Stage-2. 

 1. The number of candidates shortlisted for Skill Test will depend upon the number of candidates qualifying for Stage-2 but will not exceed 4-5 times the number of vacancies in each trade. 

 2. The Skill Test will be based on “Go/No-Go” basis.
